1. Of Note
Nominate a Journal article, grant, or special event feature
and link to on the Skirball home page. We have a webtool in place here. If you would like to send me an image, I can prepare it for web display.
2. Departmental Images on Home Page
Select an image to represent your department and it will
be put into a daily
rotation on our home page. Pleas email the image.
3. New Design
Move your old web pages into the new Skirball Design from
the December 2003
Relaunch. We can customize the site to include any information
you would
like, as well as images. We can pull your lab members from
the HR Database
and pull your publications from the Library Database, or
develop a
customized list.
4. Update Lab Pages
If you would like to make changes to your lab pages, simply
email the new text or print out the
pages and make notes on them to give to me. Please put any images
or additional
files on a CD, and make notes as to where you would like to place the files on your pages.
5. Community Outreach
Establish web links with other departments, facilities,
and institutions in
your field. Simply tell me who you would like to link with,
and I will
contact the webmasters and establish connections.
6. Special Events
Create customized pages for special Skirball Events like
the upcoming Annual
Retreat. We can develop custom ways of advertising such
events, including
featuring the event on our home page and on the School
of Medicine's Home
Page.
7. Development
If you have any ideas on how we can expand our website,
including new tools,
features, or information, please submit a web ticket indicating
that you would like to set up an appointment. |
