What is File Upload?

Media Services File Upload is the most convenient and most reliable way to get your files onto our servers. Whether you plan to park files on Park_Till_5am or Temporary_Presentations, or begin the process of ordering 35mm slides or digital photographs you'll find the upload link on this page. File names must only contain alphanumeric characters, a dash, a period or a space character.

Use File Upload to:

  1. Make digital photographs

  2. Park a file on Park_Till_5am

  3. Park a file on Temporary_Presentations

What is FTP?

Ftp or file transfer protocol is the standard method for sending files from one computer to another; it can be used instead of File Upload to get files onto our servers. Ftp software can be used to reach the Media Services servers from on campus.
