Recording and Editing Surgical Procedures |
| NYUMC Media Services provides the skilled and experienced medical
videographers needed to capture and edit a surgical procedure to
DVD. On
72 hours advance notice we offer an extremely competitive
rate of $240
for the first hour and $120 for each additional hour.
Media Services can
deliver raw footage as captured via DVD, or edit to your specifications
for an additional $100 per hour. |
When considering the recording of surgical procedures please note
that it is the responsibility of the client to:
- Notify OR management
and surgical staff well in advance that Media Services will
be present in the OR.
- Obtain any releases or other permissions necessary
to the videotaping.
- Verify
the booked OR is equiped with an up to date OR light with
a camera installed inside of the light.

| Finally, Media Services manages NYUMC's two Real Servers
and we can transcode video ($25 per clip) using the
Real Video codec and host the clips for streaming from your NYUMC
website. We can even rip ($25 per clip) and edit appropriate
