Trouble Shooting: Noise from Belt

1. Visually observe the belt when the target is still rotating. Obvious belt vibration may indicate that the belt is about to break. Keep eye on it until it's gone (may still take a while) and then change the belt.

2. If not obvious vibration, the sound may be due to enviromental (temperature and humidity in the room) problem. Let it run as is and the noise will be gone.

3. If the noise continues for a long period, e.g. a few days, stop the target. Apply some wax on the belt, if it does not appear being worn out, and let it run again.

4. If you hear squeeking, instead of flapping, noise, the belt is too loose. Try to tighten it up.
