Procedure for X-ray Generation

1. Make sure vacuum is okay. If so, the VACUUM panel on the front of the R-AXIS system should look like the picture to the left (the green RP, TMP, IG and orange OPERATE LEDs are all lit).
See R-AXIS control for vacuum operation.

2. Press POWER ON button on the X-RAY control panel shown in the left. The green POWER LED is on.

3. When green FINE (or NORMAL, depending on the FOCUS selection under MAX LOAD) LED under FOCUS is on, press TARGET ON button. Then the anode should start rotating.

4. When the orange READY LED is on, press X-RAY ON button. Then the READY LED will be off, the red X-RAY LED on, and system automatically powered up to 20kV and 10mA as the picture shows. Then go on to manual power-up.

Check can't generate x-ray for any failure.
