Trouble Shooting: Can't Get X-ray

click on image for enlarged view

After you turn on the x-ray power and start the anode spinning, if you don't see the READY LED on and no readings shown on the VOLTAGE and CURRENT indicators, your are not getting x-ray. This is caused mostly by burned fuses, which are just a number of lamps.
First check the X-RAY lamp on this panel. Take off the cover and change the lamp inside if burned.

Secondly, locate the lamp post sitting on a corner of the big R-AXIS mounting table. Make sure none of the lamps is burned.

Thirdly, check the lamp partially covered by a box at the top of the x-ray tube. Although this lamp is responsible for x-ray shutter, it will also disable x-ray generation if it's blown.
