Title: Postdoc
Interests
In general, I'm interested in the molecular mechanisms guiding the differentiation of specific neuronal subtypes. Specifically, I think the influence of epigenetic events in determining the differentiation state of progenitor cells will prove to be a very important topic of study in the
future. Also, I hope to learn more about how the molecular/epigenetic events governing cell specification result in distinct electrophysiological characteristics. I suppose it all boils down to transcriptional targets, both direct and indirect, at the end of the day.
