2007-Present Postdoctoral fellow at NYU. Smilow Neuroscience Program.
1999-2007 Ph.D in the lab of Thomas Jessell, Columbia University. GS AS. PhD Thesis title: “Determinants of motor neuron-muscle connectivity in the developing limb”

Current Work
Recent experimental evidence suggests that patterned neuronal activity acts together with transcriptional programs to regulate the assembly of neuronal circuits during development. As a postdoctoral fellow in the Fishell lab, I plan to explore the role of activity in determining aspects of connectivity. In particular, I will assess in vivo the role of neuronal activity in the establishment of morphology, laminar targeting and synapse formation of GABAergic interneurons.
