Directions to the Yelon Lab

The Yelon Lab is located in labs 15 and 16 on the 4th floor of the Skirball Institute in the New York University Medical Center at 540 First Avenue and 32nd Street.


By Plane:

LaGuardia Airport

A taxi will cost approximately $45 plus tip

JFK Airport

A taxi will cost $45 flat rate plus tolls ($4) and tip.

From Penn Station:

Exit the station at the 7th Avenue and 34th Street exit. Take the M34 bus crosstown Eastbound to 1st Avenue and proceed South to the Medical Center. One-way ride on the bus costs $2. Alternatively, a cab fare crosstown will cost approximately $8 plus tip depending on traffic conditions.

By Subway:

Take the 6 train to the 33rd Street stop, walk 4 blocks east to First Avenue, then turn right and head south 1 block. The NYU Medical Center is on the left side of First Avenue. Once inside the Medical Center, make an immediate left after the security checkpoint. The Skirball Institute is directly through the double door, straight ahead. Take the elevators to the 4th floor and go through the set of double doors that is closest to you. Make a left and walk down to Lab 15 and 16 on your right. One-way ride on the subway costs $2.

By Bus:

If traveling from downtown Manhattan, take the M15 bus northbound on 1st Avenue. The stop is directly in front of the NYU Medical Center. If traveling from uptown Manhattan, take the M15 bus southbound on 2nd Avenue to 33rd Street and walk to 1st Avenue. If traveling crosstown from the westside, take either the M34 or M16 on 34th Street to the 1st Avenue stop. Walk south to the Medical Center on the left side of 1st Avenue. One-way ride on the subway costs $2; only metro card or coins (except pennies). No cash accepted.
